The story clearly shown on this week’s chart is that supply is important. Once we received a new shipment of discs from INNOVA, some of their discs moved back onto the chart, including the Star DESTROYER re-taking the #1 spot after a long hiatus. Other Innova molds like the MAKO3, ROC, PIG, NOVA and SHRYKE hit the chart as well. Once the supply comes back for discs that had dwindled in numbers, the chart moves around quite a bit. We still have a lot more Innova to add to our inventory at Infinite Discs, so expect to see those Innova numbers stick around.

Also on the chart this week were two new Signature Edition discs from Infinite Discs. The Drew Gibson Signature Swirly S-Blend SCEPTER took the #4 spot and the Scott Withers Signature Swirly S-Blend EXODUS debuted at #10.

The Discraft LUNA is back with a vengeance, topping the weekly chart by a mile. The Star DESTROYER took the #2 spot, showing that it is still a contender as the most popular distance driver in the market. The Discraft ZONE took 4 spots in 4 different plastic types, and the BUZZZ took 3 spots in 3 different plastic types, helping Discraft to chart dominance for the week. Discraft took 14 of 20 spots!

The D-Line P2 it moving back into the chart now that we have a restock, and the DX Aviar is still holding strong as a popular putter during the Coronavirus putter renaissance.

There are a few oddities on this week’s chart. For one, the D-Line P2 which has been a mainstay on the chart is completely absent. That is because we sold out of those, so it’s hard to maintain the position without stock. But we were able to add more LUNA putters to the online store, so the LUNA jumped right back to the top. A lot of misprint discs from Discraft made it onto the chart this week. Why? Well, misprints from Discraft are becoming harder to find, and when they are Paul McBeth signature misprints, they are somehow more hotly sought-after than the stock editions. That’s why you see a Titanium Misprint Undertaker, Z Misprint Zone, and Z Misprint Force all on the chart this week.

The new Classic Hybrid JUDGE and Classic Hybrid WARDEN both hit the chart this week as new releases at the #7 and #8 spots, while the Prime Burst JUDGE took #5 at a time when putters are experiencing something of a renaissance.

This week’s best-seller chart is a bit tainted by the challenges of supply during this odd time when putters sell out almost instantly and are difficult to restock. For example, the Luna usually sits at the top of the chart but dropped to the #7 spot because we simply ran out– we haven’t had Luna discs for most of the past week. Likewise, the D-Line P2 is usually in the top 4 spots, but has dropped to #8, also because we have had difficulty restocking and the supply has dwindled.  On the other hand, the new TACTIC approach disc was launched last week and took two of the top 3 positions, but could have had higher sales if we’d had more of them available. These kinds of discs are hard to keep in stock!

The Innova DX Aviar took the #5 spot with the Zone, Fierce, Nova, and KC Aviar also hitting the chart. The Buzzz was on there in several plastic types, along with the Zone, making another Discraft-heavy chart this week.

WINNER – The #9 spot this week was taken by the Z Misprint Zone, which is an oddball on the chart because those sales all happened within a few minutes in the middle of the night. If you were sleeping, like most people do at night, you probably had no idea that anything happened when those hit the online store. Since that doesn’t feel very fair, we’re going to give the win this week to Kyle who guessed Z Line Zone (pretty close).

Putters are really picking up in sales since the coronavirus brought a “stay-at-home” policy to much of the country. Backyard putting is a big thing right now. The LUNA by Discraft took the #1 spot for the last week, being a putter that has been hot for a while. But the DX AVIAR slipped into the #3 spot, followed closely by the D-Line P2 (which might be even higher on the chart, if not for lack of supply). The Discraft ZONE hit the chart 3 times, in Jawbreaker, ESP, and Z-Line plastics. Other putter and approach discs on the chart include the Fierce, Judge, Nova, Ohm, and Roach.  In fact. of the Top 20 discs, 11 of those (more than half) are putters!

The Star Invictus by Innova took the #1 spot this week as a new distance driver release. Then a few familiar discs follow, including the Luna at #2 and the Destroyer at #3. The Signature Swirly S-Blend EMPEROR came in at #4 with the release of the Garrett Gurthie “G-Batross” special edition. We likely would have seen the new Dynamic Discs Sergeant on the chart this week, but we misplaced our shipment during the process of moving inventory between our original and expanded warehouse. Sorry about that! Watch for the new Sergeant and other Trilogy releases coming out this week on the Infinite Discs website.
