Welcome to the top-selling discs report! At the beginning of each month, we will take a look back at the previous month to calculate which discs sold the best. You have a chance to win a $20 gift card each month if you correctly guess a certain spot for the next month (see below for more details).
Each month, we look at the top 50 disc sales data for mold AND plastic-type to see which disc rose to the top. Due to this, it is possible that a single model could show up on the list several times, each representing a different plastic type. This also helps us to know which disc in which plastic are the most popular among our customers.

This is not really a “which disc in which plastic are the most popular among our customers” guess/prediction.
1) how does Infinite Discs supply chain management factor into these rankings and our predictions for next month? This list is “what customers purchased”, and not “what customers wanted to buy.” Customers were “prevented from purchasing” by Infinite Discs inventory constraints, e. g., out-of-stocks or never-stocks of preference criteria such as mold, plastic, weight, color, stamp that then cause customer to purchase alternative or purchase at another retailer.
2) how does Infinite Discs promotional marketing factor into rankings? e.g., price discounts, featured promotion such as placement on homepage, featured in demand-gen media (email, social), next-best or similar-to purchase recommendations, etc.
So, the accuracy of my next month guess is not as an estimate of customer demand, but customer purchases heavily biased by Infinite Discs marketing and inventory management decisions.
Net: predicting that MVP Neutron WATT sales will repeat as #7 by customer interest can be easily displaced by Infinite Discs planned inventory buying decisions and promotional marketing decisions.
