Introducing Trash Panda Disc Golf
Trash Panda Disc Golf
Infinite Discs carries over 55 brands of discs! We started this blog series to introduce you to some of the brands and molds that you might not be as familiar with. Each week we will spotlight a different company and tell you a little more about them. Because of Covid shutdowns our supply of discs was severely affected. Therefore, we may not have all of the molds from all of the brands we will talk about. But, it might put a few more molds on your radar for the future. This week we are hitting the road again, literally, to introduce you to Trash Panda Disc Golf.
Recycled Idea
Nestled in the suburbs of Denver lies a garage that is home to an unusual disc golf manufacturer, Trash Panda Disc Golf. I braved a couple snow storms to travel to Denver to interview Jesse, the founder of this new company. I stumbled onto Trash Panda Disc Golf when a video popped into my feed YouTube feed with the title stating something about making a disc. I got hooked on the YouTube Channel, and the theme for Trash Panda, which is growing disc golf sustainably. Jesse’s goal was to make a disc out of recycled plastic.
Man With A Vision
Jesse started Trash Panda Disc Golf last year and has already garnered a growing fan base. Trash Panda fans are not like the usual people who like a particular brand. Most people like a manufacturer because of the molds they produce. Not with TP fans though, because so far Trash Panda doesn’t have any molds on the market. Realistically, Trash Panda fans are more than a group of people following a brand. They also contribute to the goal of making a disc out of recycled plastic. Jesse has received tons of tip, tricks, suggestions, and even some machining by one loyal follower. The idea of recycling and disc golf really resonates with a lot of people.

A pink driver but you’d probably have to recycle a bunch of pepto bismol containers 🙂
Recycled putter ftw!! One of those minis would be super cool
I would agree with a possible putter or a midrange.
I like the idea of a recycled putter. I’ve been watching his YouTube videos and I am looking forward to trying his putter once it is available.
I think a putter would be great since it would get the most exposure on the course and this needs to be spotlighted. I love what Jesse is doing. It’s great that infinite is spotlighting these small companies. Keep it up.
I have been following Jesse for quite sometime now and excited to see what he accomplishes in the future. He has come along way and that is awesome to see!
Any recycled plastic sounds good, but I would start with a putter.
I love a good soft grippy putter.
Awesome blog been following trash panda through the process! Really cool work hes doing!
I think the over stable approach disc that has become increasingly popular like the Zone or AviarX3 would be a great disc style for them to try!
I love the idea of recycling plastics found on the course and turning them into a disc. Also, always a nice feeling now scanning my Trash Panda Fill it Forward barcode on my water bottle 🙂
Would love to have one of the Trash Panda minis!
Putter for sure. Lots of exposure and I’d be less likely to lose it…..
A Midrange; my go to all around disc, even for a putt, here and there.
I would love a putter! Knowing I’m gonna use it every hole(haven’t hit that ace yet) makes me feel it would be used from its sustainability purpose.
The recycled plastic always has a good feel and grip to it, so I’d like to see an understable putter that can be used off the tee or comfortable enough in the hand to sink from anywhere in the circle. Love the name, looking forward to trying their first few molds.
After watching some of his videos the putter looks great, it is similar to what I use.
When can we expect a disc? Don’t really care what form it comes in (Putter, Mid, Fairway or Distance)… I just want your logo flying down the fairway
Swirly Blue and White shallow understable putter would be sweet!
Grippy, stable putter would be my choice!
It would be awesome for all discs to be recycled! That is a long way off but it’s a great goal.
