The number one choice for distance forehands is the Destroyer.
The longest throw averaged around 390
The number one choice for accuracy is the Firebird, but not by much! There were dozens of different molds chosen.
The Zone took the number one spot for forehand accuracy shots. The Berg was a close second.

My favorite has to be the Hawkeye, since my first time using it I recorded my first ace.
Tesla for sure. The flat top, stability and gyro rim makes it perfect for a variety of forehand shots. Can go anny and guarantee it’ll come back. But i love using it for forehand skip shots.

1 – My favorite distance forehand disc is the Lux Vapor Enigma from Discmania. Gives a great flex line without having to throw on anhyzer, and has enough stability to hold up in moderate winds.
2 – My longest flat-ground forehand throw is 425 feet – with a lightweight Discraft Hades.
3 – The reliability of the Aaron Gossage tour series Raptor is fantastic for accuracy.
4 – The answer for me on accuracy is almost always the Zone. I do like the MVP Deflector if a little more fade is required or if it’s really windy.

1. The Kristin Tattar Grace absolutely BOMBS for forehand. And it doesn’t need a ton of power either. It’s pretty intermediate player friendly.
2. 375’ feet with an RPM Discs Kahu (13/5/-1/2)
3. RPM Discs Tara Iti (10/5/0/2)
It’s like a perfect Control Driver forehand. Can handle power and wind. Super reliable. Feels great in the hand.

In premium plastics (Atomic, Cosmic & Platinum) it’s nice and beefy 🙂
In Strata and Magma (baseline plastic) it’s got some workability to it. Great for beginners. My whole bag is built around my Keas.
I have to say my best forehand disc is easily the Discraft Surge SS in ESP plastic. I’ve got two of them that I’ve been throwing for over a year and they’ve beat in to the point where they have beautiful S-curve flight paths now when thrown flat. And on hyzer, those things will flip over a tiny bit and go straight the whole way fighting any wind that may come their way! Will forever bag the Surge SS! Close second is the Innova Star Wraith and Third is the Infinite Glow C-Blend Dynasty

Axiom Wrath or Thunderbird for most forehands, the occasional champion monster for chip shots. Also Razor Claw 2 or Kastaplast Jarn!
Either my Destroyer or Krave.
1 – Z or ESP Venom; workhorse Distance Driver for my forehand. Regardless of conditions it’s fading.
2 – A 5 year old Fuzion Raider; the longest standing disc in my bag. Beat to perfection and won’t leave the bag until it’s lost. She goes FAR.
3 – Star Firebird; a lawn dart accuracy for my game from 275-325ft.
4 – Soft Zone; a beat in Zone is one the best discs you could have in any bag.
1 – Flip up to turn with a Legacy Cannon

4 – Hex for the same reason as the Crave, just so shapeable for most scenarios. But a close runner up would have been the Pyro
Z Zone and Bobcat for approach!! I’m new to forehand and these two discs have really helped me progress well in my forehand learning!!
I’m hoping to graduate to a fairway this year and I’m thinking my Teebird or TL3 may be a good choice for my next level of learning! We will see! Baby steps though, gotta master the chip approaches and angle control first!!
Forehand drives are my absolute favorite throw in the sport! My best forehand for distance has been the Prodigy D2. I think most of it is due to the rim being perfect for my grip. gets a perfect S-curve with a giant skip when I’m going for distance. Max distance is 290-300′. I’ve bought multiple backups of that one since I’ve worn a couple out. Ok…wore 1 out, threw the other into the exact center of a pond. If I need an accurate approach, it’s the MVP Reactor. But that’s also my most accurate all-around disc.
