The number one choice for distance forehands is the Destroyer.
The longest throw averaged around 390
The number one choice for accuracy is the Firebird, but not by much! There were dozens of different molds chosen.
The Zone took the number one spot for forehand accuracy shots. The Berg was a close second.

1 – What is your favorite forehand disc for distance?
-Color Glow Millennium Draco. Flat, grippy, Overstable, and when seasoned very workable.

-Hard to say because I lost my rangefinder in Febuary…. but I’ve birdied a 400ft hole with a forehand.

-Big Jerm Thunderbird. Reliably stable, Glide, and similar feel to Firebird/Draco. The disc that was missing from my bag the whole year, and would have given me more birdie opportunities.

-Toro. Was Zone for the longest time, but now I have found the Toro it’ll be hard to take it out of my bag. Releases easier than the zone and is more reliably overstable
1. Halo Wraith 158g for forehand distance, lighter weight turns easier for full flight, but always comes back.

3. For accuracy Doomsday Blackout, if I need to thread a fh line it’s my go to.
4. For fh approaches, I rely on Innova Sp. Ed. Champion Studs. Stud best fh putter in game in my opinion.

5 – I know this wasn’t asked but my favorite disc to throw forehand solely for the fun of it is the Discraft Comet, it’s hard to get right but when I do there’s not a prettier shot.
Honorable mention to both the Stego and Tilt for being able to throw them on near vertical angles of anhyzer and have them fight out and still fade back right of center, which is very useful for scrambling from tight angles way off the fairway.

The experimental Discraft Zone/Ringer-GT. It’s just a better version of a Zone. Even aced with it.

1. Favorite for distance is probably a Star Valkyrie. I also enjoy my Star TeeBird3 because of its super reliable fade but I have been able to get the Valkyrie a little further a little more consistently.
2. My max distance is around the 200 range. Anything harder than that I am not controlling any of the angles!
3. Favorite for accuracy is probable a Halo Mako3. If I have a tight gap that is what I am praying with.
4. Favorite for approach is a Star Roc. I think I need to fill this with a more true approach disc but with how short and new my game is, this works great for me

1. For distance I’m reaching for a Zeus, throwing it on a little bit of a flex to force an S into it to push before it dumps.
2. 300ish with my forehand, I throw it further and more accurate than my backhand.
3. I use an Anax for more accurate fairway shots. I can get it to push fairly accurately in the woods, and it still dumps reliably which helps with shot shaping.
4. Zones all day for approach shots. I bag a jawbreaker, Esp, Cryztal FLX, Z sparkle, as well as the new Zinger GT, and a soft Zone OS. Forehand and backhand, I love a zone. Touch approaches, tee shots, and get out of jail scramble shots too. Zones are my favourite discs hands down.
