Welcome to the Top 20 Tuesday chart! Every week we take a look at the twenty top-selling discs on the Infinite Discs website, broken down by plastic type as well. So these are the top sellers for the last seven days in order.
The big winner for the last week of sales was the PATHFINDER by Thought Space Athletics, hitting the Top 20 with four different positions with all four plastics and taking the #1 spot. Discraft took a share of the chart with a mix of restocks and Ledgestone editions. Innova took a number of spots with their popular models, though our supply has diminished.
The weekly chart continues to be driven by new releases and whatever happens to come back in stock that week, as supply continues to fall behind the demand for discs. Here is a look at how many times the different brands appeared on the chart this week:
–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.
WINNER – This week the #11 spot was the Cryztal Sparkle Buzzz SS. We’ve seen fewer correct guesses lately as the discs that hit the chart almost entirely reshuffle every week depending on what comes in stock. Nobody won this week, but give it a shot for next week.
NEXT WEEK: Guess the #3 spot for next week. The first person to get it right (include the disc model and plastic type) will win!

The #1 spot this week was a blow-out by the special run of Jawbreaker BUZZZ GT discs. A pair of Halo Star discs from INNOVA come in at #2 and #3, followed by the popular JUDGE putter in 4th and 5th place.

WINNER – This week the #10 spot was the Tour Series ESP SOL. Nobody picked the signature SOL to come onto the chart this week, so we do not have a winner this time.

The Top 20 this week was dominated by Discraft as we received a restock of some models that have been absent for a while. The Zone appeared on the chart in three times, the Buzzz, Force, Nuke and others were on there as well, with the Cryztal FLX BUZZZ taking the number one spot. The Halo Star DESTROYER hit the #3 spot as the highest ranking non-Discraft entry. The RUNE putter by Viking is gaining steam in popularity and moved onto the chart this week as well.

The top-selling disc for the last week was the KOI by Elevation Discs. As a new release from the new rubber disc brand, there was a lot of anticipation for the floppy putter. Coming in a close 2nd place was the Royal Grand GRACE (first run) by Latitude 64. It’s hard to know how many discs would have moved in those top 2 spots, since they both sold out (a quick way to stop sales). Other Discraft special runs and Ledgestone edition discs hit the charts as usual, with a smattering of popular Innova discs as well. There were 2 entries from MVP and 2 entries from AXIOM, showing that a restock is often all that is needed these days to be a top seller.

WINNER – This week the #8 spot was the Halo Star LEOPARD3 signature disc, which was the #7 last week, just dropping one spot. It looks like Jared picked that one this week, so he wins the $10 gift card.

The top 20 chart for the past week is almost a complete shuffle once again, as the best-sellers are determined primarily by availability. Whatever is new or available seems to jump into the chart. The #1 spot was a special run of ESP HORNET mid-range discs by Discraft. The #2 spot was the Garrett Gurthie Signature Halo Star WRAITH, followed by the restock of the INTERCEPTOR by Elevation Discs (their debut rubber-blend putt-and-approach disc). Three new discs from Discmania’s Active Line made it onto the chart with the SHOGUN, ASTRONAUT, and ROCKSTAR. There’s a smattering of the usual Innova restock and Discraft Ledgestone discs. A restock of MVP and AXIOM also pushed a couple of those models onto the chart.

WINNER – This week the #7 spot was the Halo Star LEOPARD3 signature disc. There were some great guesses that pegged new releases and popular Ledgestone discs, but nobody picked the Halo Leopard3.

This week the new Royal RIVE from Latitude 64 took the #1 spot this week with its First Run launch. It’s an overstable distance driver in a new Royal plastic blend. Much of the rest of the chart was dominated by some of the Ledgestone Edition discs from DISCRAFT which are always popular and sell quickly. Infinite Discs had a couple of discs on the chart with the #5 I-Blend KON TIKI and the #6 D-Blend ALPACA.

WINNER – This week the #6 spot was the D-Blend ALPACA. There were a couple of guesses for the D-Blend Alpaca, but it looks like ROB came in first. Congratulations Rob!

The disc golf boom that was fueled by the pandemic last year, has continued into 2021. Many people found fulfillment in disc golf as a safe way to remain active, learn a new skill, and spend time with friends and family. Infinite Discs has experienced higher than usual demand and a shortage of supply.
The top-selling discs for this period are largely a result of what we were able to actually get in stock. Many disc molds would have had substantially more sales if they could have been purchased in quantities accurate enough to meet consumer demand. Because the major disc golf manufacturers have limited supply, popular brands like Prodigy and Discmania Originals didn’t have a chance of making our top 10 lists. From the Westside brand, we currently have only 3 of their 33 different molds IN stock.
At the top of our sales list for the first quarter, there are some familiar molds. Molds from Innova and Discraft are regularly our top sellers. Discs in the Infinite Discs line rank especially high for this period, primarily because we were able to keep most of these molds in stock most of the time.
There are also some new and surprising molds to highlight a little further. The hot release from a large restock of the Thought Space Athletics Mantra and consistent stock of the Gateway Wizard allowed these discs to be consistent sellers throughout the quarter and made it on the list in 6th and 7th place respectively.
As already mentioned, some staples of disc golfers’ bags are, as expected, listed here: the Zone, Destroyer, Wraith, and the Buzzz. In addition, we see several Infinite Discs molds: Emperor, Alpaca, Pharaoh, and Sphinx. The Kona Panis Signature runs of the Alpaca(D-blend and D-blend Glow) and the Emperor(I-blend) certainly have promoted interest and demand for those molds.
Thanks to the fact that we had a good supply of the Emperor, especially Kona Panis and Garrett Gurthie editions, the Infinite Discs Emperor outsold the Innova Destroyer. Flight numbers and characteristics of these two discs are very similar, while the Emperor has a touch more glide and a bit less overstability. This can make it more manageable for all of us non-pros out on the course.
Unfortunately, our supply of Emperors has run out and we don’t know when we will be able to stock them.
The belle of the ball. The star of the show. The Thought Space Athletics Mantra. For the entire quarter, the Mantra outperformed the Leopard, Leopard3, Firebird, and our top performer in this category, the Sphinx. Even when sales of the Leopard and Leopard3 are combined, the Mantra still outperforms that popular mold. The Mantra is an understable control driver, with flight characteristics similar to, though not as extreme as, well-known molds like the Sidewinder, Heat, and Sphinx. This could be a great disc for someone getting their first driver after focusing on perfecting form with slower discs, or hyzer-flip straight shots for tight fairways or through the woods. With their unique artwork and immediately recognizable stamp designs, Thought Space Athletics is always in the debate for the coolest looking discs. As Deion Sanders says, “Look good, Feel good, Play good”.
Surprise, surprise. At the top of the list, we find the Buzzz. The Buzzz has long been considered one of the best, if not THE best midrange in all of disc golf. Couple that with the support, praise, and signature lines from Paul McBeth, Paige Pierce, and Brodie Smith, there is no reason to think any other disc would be at the top of this list. Notably, we find 3 different iterations of the Roc on this list, proving the Roc isn’t going anywhere. Disc golfers have long debated over which of these molds is the greatest midrange ever. Even when sales of 3 Roc versions are combined though, the Buzzz still sold more for this quarter. The war is still ongoing, but the Buzzz has been winning the battles as of late.
The Zone takes the top spot here, proving that we all want to throw what the pros throw. The Paul McBeth “Claw” and Brodie Smith “Get Freaky” Zones are clearly driving interest in the mold. The Zone was the best seller of ALL discs in Q1, and by a wide margin, selling about 30% more than the next closest disc. The Pilot has been gaining recognition as a great driving putter and we see the evidence of that here. The P Model S has proven to be a favorite from Prodigy’s affordable Ace Line discs. The P Model S has a microbead and great glide to keep your putts moving towards the basket. Will Schusterick, who has helped design and promote the Ace Line discs, described the P Model S to feel like a combination of the Pa-1 and Pa-3.
In next quarter’s update, we will again highlight the top discs in each category, determine the biggest movers, and include some testimonials and quotes from some disc golfers that are using our most popular selling discs. We truly appreciate your time spent reading our Q1 Sales Update.
Please leave a comment below letting us know how many of these molds that are currently in your bag.Feedback for this article and recommendations for future articles are always accepted and considered.
Get outside and throw some discs. Have an awesome day!

One of the major highlights of the last week was obviously the limited run of Surge SS discs from Discraft. They sold out in 24 hours as most limited runs by Discraft do. The #2 spot was taken by the D-Blend ALPACA, still gaining traction as a very popular putter in the market. The #3 spot was taken by an old favorite, the Star DESTROYER by Innova. As it has been for over a year, the chart was mostly decided by what Infinite Discs was able to get in stock. The demand for discs remains high, but the availability is spotty with only certain models coming in stock here and there.

WINNER – This week the #5 spot was the ESP ZONE. It looks like this week’s winner is MACK who picked the ESP Zone as the #5. Congratulations Mack!
