Focus Friday – D Model S

Welcome to another weekend, hopefully this one goes well for you. This week we will focus on Prodigy’s D Model S. Use the discount code FOCUSDMODELS to get 20% off all D Model S molds.

Making the D Model S Focus Friday promotion better, we added a sweet dragon stamp onto it. The stamp will only be on the Duraflex plastic. These stamped discs will release Friday, January 29, at 12:00 MST.

This distance river has a good amount of stability to it, providing a nice straight trajectory through the air until it has a solid fade at the end of the flight. Because of the stability, it is quite consistent on its flight path. You can purchase this disc in the base plastic or the premium plastic, whichever you prefer.

If you haven’t tried the disc, check out the reviews on our site to see if you would like to try it out. Or if you have tried the disc, and liked it, now is a good time to get some spares or replacements. Using the discount code provide, you can get them for 20% off over the weekend.

You can select your disc by clicking here. Simply add as many D Model S molds to your shopping cart as you want, then BEFORE you click to checkout, look below the shopping cart. Right below the shopping cart is a box for Discount Codes. Click there and paste the code, FOCUSDMODELS, into the box. Then proceed to checkout and you’ll get the discount.

Here is a screenshot to help you out, though it doesn’t necessarily show a D Model S in the cart – it’s just a generic visual to help you find the discount code box:

We hope that you love throwing the D Model S. If you’ve thrown the disc, feel free to share what you think of this distance driver disc. Thanks!

Focus Friday

Happy Friday. . . the 13th. Luckily for us all, we are still doing a Focus Friday. Sticking to the science side of things rather than the superstitious side. This weekend, you can get 10% off all MVP Photons by using the provided discount code.

The Photon is an overstable distance driver. You will want this disc if you’re in search of an 11 speed, overstable driver. In a headwind, you can through it with confidence, as it will fly as you intended it to fly. If you’ve got a slower arm, you can trust this disc to be a good manageable utility driver. If you’ve got a fast arm, you’ll be able to throw this disc and watch it as it flies on that beloved s-curve line. The Photon can be used for some solid flex shots as well. This weekend is an excellent time to pick up a Photon to try or to stock up, simply use the code FOCUSPHOTON to get 10% off all Photons.

Focus Friday Aztec

Happy weekend to us all! With the new weekend, comes a new Focus Friday. This time, we are going to focus on our own brand, specifically the Aztec. While we are focusing on this disc for the weekend, you can enjoy 20% off the Aztec with the discount code below.

This stable distance driver is available in a handful of plastics; I-Blend, G-Blend, and Swirly S-Blend. This is a straight flying driver, its 10 speed provides a surprising amount of distance and a good amount of accuracy. Due to the speed and the stability of this disc, it is a pretty manageable distance driver to throw. You could consider this to be a longer Exodus. This could easily be a go-to distance driver, as it will hold most lines you throw it on. What better time to restock or try out the Aztec. What do you like Aztec for?

Head on over to InfiniteDiscs.com/Infinite-Discs-Aztec to select your Aztec. Once everything you want is in your cart, you can apply the discount code FOCUSAZTEC and get 20% off all Aztecs in your cart.

Note: After placing your discs in the shopping cart and before checking out, click on the “Discount Code” box under the shopping cart and enter that code. Then proceed to checkout.

Animus and Pathfinder Release

Thought Space Athletics has released two new discs; a distance driver – the Animus – and a midrange – the Pathfinder. These discs are available right away in three plastics: Aura, Ethereal, and Ethos. Each plastic has its own unique stamp as well. Head on over to InfiniteDiscs.com/Thought-Space-Athletics to check these discs out and pick one up.

The Animus

The Animus is a high performance distance driver with a moderately overstable flight pattern. It handles torque well when thrown by experienced players, but does not have so much fade that it is unmanageable by recreational players who need an overstable driver in their bag. It has been compared to a cross between an Innova Wraith and Thunderbird.

The Pathfinder

The Pathfinder is an excellent mid-range that can be counted on for a consistent, straight flight down the fairway with only minimal end fade. Its excellence in flight can only be matched by the beauty of the plastic and stamps.

Exodus I-Blend Myth C-Blend Slab I-Blend

There are some new plastics released for some of our Infinite Discs molds. The Myth is now in C-Blend. The Exodus is now available in I-blend. And you can get the Slab in I-Blend as well.

The Myth is a dependable, beaded putter with a comfortable rim that can be used for precision putting, or as a driving putter and approach disc. If your putting game can’t be a thing of legend, then at least let it be a thing of Myth. Inspire friends and family to talk about your epic putts around late-night campfires for generations to come.

The Exodus is a stable, controllable fairway driver. The comfortable rim design and manageable speed are perfect for players at all experience levels. It is a trustworthy disc on the fairway and excellent for navigating wooded courses.  It has a precise, long flight pattern with a consistent fade, plus it can also handle all the power you can give it for long-distance flights.

The Slab is a high-speed, very overstable distance driver with a flat top and wide rim. TIt is designed for power throwers who want a disc that still fades, no matter how hard it is thrown. This disc works wonders for spike hyzer throws, strong forehand throws, as a wind fighter, or as a utility disc when you need to fade hard around obstacles. Watch the Slab slice dependably through the air under any conditions.

Focus Friday

Another week has come and gone, and this Focus Friday is all about the Yikun Twin Swords.

This is a overmold 12 speed distance driver. The disc’s rim is pretty comparable to other 12 speeds, resulting in a comfortable grip. This is a stable disc, making it fairly easy to throw and get some good distance. It has a pretty straight flight path with a little curve out before it’ll fade out.

Once again, we’re making another stamp available for you to make the Focus Friday all that much more interesting! Check out this stamp, the Chinese Warrior, adding it to our Infinite Discs Warrior collection. Use the promo code FOCUSTWINSWORDS to get 20% off this weekend.

You can select your disc by clicking here. Simply add as may Twin Swords discs to your shopping cart as you want, then BEFORE you click to checkout, look below the shopping cart. Right below the shopping cart is a box for Discount Codes. Click there and paste the code into the box. Then proceed to checkout and you’ll get the discount.

Here is a screenshot to help you out, though it doesn’t necessarily show a Twin Swords in the cart, or the 20% discount– it’s just a generic visual to help you find the discount code box:

We hope that you love throwing the Twin Swords by Yikun. If you’ve thrown the disc, feel free to share what you think of this distance driver. Thanks!

FOCUS FRIDAY – THE YIKUN LU (LUAN)

We’ve started taking the opportunity to focus on specific discs in specific plastic types on Fridays and call them “FOCUS FRIDAY” blogs. We may not make it on every week, but we’ll try to keep some fresh discs in the spotlight on a somewhat regular basis.

Our New Focus Friday Features the Yikun LU (or LUAN)

The LU by Yikun Discs (also called the “Luan”) was originally introduced in Phoenix Line plastic which is a durable, translucent plastic similar to popular blends like Innova Champion or Discraft Z Line. But more recently, Yikun experimented with a new version of the plastic which is now called PHOENIX STAR. This new plastic blend is gummy and flexible, like the discontinued Frost Line plastic by Latitude 64, or the sometimes seen Gummy Champion by Innova. It’s a great plastic blend for cold weather when discs tend to stiffen-up. It feels truly unique.

The disc itself came out VERY flat in the Phoenix Star plastic. It almost has the profile of a dinner plate! It is a wide rim driver at maximum “speed 14” and an overstable finish. This is a great utility disc when you want a hard fade at the end of flight, or if you love to crank sidearm (forehand) or overhand (tomahawk style). Power throwers will love cranking on the LU, and more intermediate players will find it to be a very useful overstable disc when a lot of side-to-side movement is needed on the course. The disc can also be used for a huge spike-hyzer.

Here is a little clip of an amateur throwing the overstable LU after showing how flexible it is. You can see how dramatically it fades once it loses speed.

Three Words: FLAT, FLEXIBLE, and FAST!

This week (until Saturday the 2nd of November) you can get your hands on the LU with a great discount of 20% OFF! Simply add the LU discs to your cart that you desire, then before clicking to “Checkout,” look below your shopping cart for the Discount Code box and enter this code:

FOCUS-LU

Then click “Checkout” to proceed to the payment screen with the 20% discount applied. The discount will apply to all the LU discs in your shopping cart.
