Sune Sports – Guru Disc Golf Line

Sune Sports is a sporting goods company based in Norway. As a relatively new company, they are currently focusing on beginners and casual players. By providing a wide array of discs that are all easy to throw, affordable, and light weight. They have 8 molds, all of which are available on our website under the Guru Disc Golf Brand. These molds will come in one or two plastic types; S-Plastic or Safety Line.

S-Plastic

This plastic is an affordable light weight base plastic blend similar to Innova DX or Discraft Pro-D. S-Plastic often comes in a Light Edition where the weights are low, typically in the 150-165 gram range.

Safety Line

Safety Line plastic is ultra soft, designed to help prevent injuries when kids and inexperienced players try disc golf for the first time.

All discs in this line come in ultra light weights which increases their safety and makes them especially friendly for beginners and children. These discs also float in water making them perfect for a crowded round of beach golf.

Putters

Cumulus

The Cumulus is a light weight easy to throw putter available in an ultra soft plastic blend. The plastic used is so flexible that you can literally fold the Cumulus in half. This is a beadless putter with a flat top.

This putt and approach disc is perfect for children and others just learning disc golf.

The Cumulus will float in water.

Flow Motion

The Motion is a flat top beadless putter with a sable flight path. This putt and approach disc works well for both approach shots and short putts.

This is an excellent all purpose putter for players of all skill levels.

 

Midranges

Cirrus

The Sune Sport Cirrus is a slow speed midrange with a thin rim, low profile, and flat top.

This midrange disc is very similar to the Cumulus. It is available in ultra soft, flexible, light weight plastic and is ideal for children.

 

Mad Mission

The Sune Sport Mad Mission is a stable flying approach midrange with a flat top and thin rim. This disc excels for short drives and consistent approach shots.

 

 

 

Silent Cruiser

The Sune Sport Silent Cruiser Midrange is an overstable utility disc designed to fade hard. This disc

is classified as a midrange but has a rim configuration more similar to a driver.

 

Control Drivers

Contrail

The Contrail is an ultra light weight super soft fairway driver designed for beginners.

This easy to throw fairway driver is incredibly flexible and will fold in half. It also floats in water. The Contrail is a great driver to use for children and school group disc golf instruction.

 

Night Trooper

The Night Trooper is an easy to throw fairway driver designed to give new disc golfers maximum distance and control.

 

 

 

Distance Drivers

Short Slacker

The Short Slacker is a low profile beginner friendly distance driver designed to give growing players more distance than the driver found in the starter set.

When thrown with high speeds the Short Slacker exhibits a significant amount of high speed turn for gliding S-Curve flight paths. New players will find that the Short Slacker has a significant amount of low speed end of flight fade.

Prodigy has released a new bag to join the ranks of starter bags. Introducing the Ace Starter Bag. This is now available on InfiniteDiscs.com for $13.99. This bag will also be included in some Ace Line Starter sets, which will be available at a future date.

The Ace Starter Bag is a great beginner bag, and is also perfect for kids. It holds approximately 6-8 discs and has an adjustable shoulder strap. The small Velcro pocket on the side can hold small items, while the larger front pocket can be used for valuables or discs.

New Release – Launch Discs

Launch Disc Golf is now available for purchase on InfiniteDiscs.com. They are a UK based disc manufacturer that produces quality discs for the fast-growing disc golf market. There are two types of plastics available; Alpha and Omega. Alpha is the premium plastic, while the Omega is more of the putter type plastic. You can get the Cipher in Alpha, Code in Omega, and Lander in Omega. Read more about them below:

Cipher

The Cipher is the first driver release from Launch Disc Golf. It is a straight-to-overstable driver that can be used as a workhorse disc to traverse the fairway. It is comfortable to throw either backhand or forehand and it recommended for players at all experience levels, since it does not have an overly fast rim speed.

The alpha plastic is a little bit on the slicker side of plastic feel. This plastic has some bend to it, regardless, it still feels firm and durable. This disc is available for purchase on InfiniteDiscs.com/Launch-Disc-Golf-Cipher for $17.99

Code

The Code is an all-purpose mid-range disc. When thrown with power, it will reach a surprising distance. It has a slight turn when thrown with high speed, superb glide phase with a reliable fade finish.

Lander

The Lander is an excellent debut putter from Launch Disc Golf. It has a flat top, a nicely rounded nose (rim) for comfort, and a smooth micro-bead for a little added stability. Categorized as a stable putter, having a straight flight path with a little fade at the end.

Animus and Pathfinder Release

Thought Space Athletics has released two new discs; a distance driver – the Animus – and a midrange – the Pathfinder. These discs are available right away in three plastics: Aura, Ethereal, and Ethos. Each plastic has its own unique stamp as well. The Animus

The Animus is a high performance distance driver with a moderately overstable flight pattern. It handles torque well when thrown by experienced players, but does not have so much fade that it is unmanageable by recreational players who need an overstable driver in their bag. It has been compared to a cross between an Innova Wraith and Thunderbird.

 

The Pathfinder

The Pathfinder is an excellent mid-range that can be counted on for a consistent, straight flight down the fairway with only minimal end fade. Its excellence in flight can only be matched by the beauty of the plastic and stamps.

Exodus I-Blend Myth C-Blend Slab I-Blend

There are some new plastics released for some of our Infinite Discs molds. The Myth is now in C-Blend. The Exodus is now available in I-blend. And you can get the Slab in I-Blend as well.

The Myth is a dependable, beaded putter with a comfortable rim that can be used for precision putting, or as a driving putter and approach disc. If your putting game can’t be a thing of legend, then at least let it be a thing of Myth. Inspire friends and family to talk about your epic putts around late-night campfires for generations to come.

The Exodus is a stable, controllable fairway driver. The comfortable rim design and manageable speed are perfect for players at all experience levels. It is a trustworthy disc on the fairway and excellent for navigating wooded courses.  It has a precise, long flight pattern with a consistent fade, plus it can also handle all the power you can give it for long-distance flights.

The Slab is a high-speed, very overstable distance driver with a flat top and wide rim. TIt is designed for power throwers who want a disc that still fades, no matter how hard it is thrown. This disc works wonders for spike hyzer throws, strong forehand throws, as a wind fighter, or as a utility disc when you need to fade hard around obstacles. Watch the Slab slice dependably through the air under any conditions.

 

Dino Discs Triceratops Release

The Dino Discs Triceratops putter is now in stock!

This putter is available now in Eggshell plastic. There is a more typical putter plastic on the way. Like other Dino Discs, this is a very lightweight disc. Making it a great disc for kids, senior players, or anyone who has a slow arm. The Triceratops is an understable putter that flies fairly straight with a gentle fade at the end.
