New Zuca Cart Accessory – Power Pocket Pouch

Power Pocket Pouch

The Power Pocket Pouch is a new addition to the disc golf cart accessories. This pouch is designed to make your go-to discs readily available along with some other course essentials.

It will hold 4-8 discs, your cellphone and/or wallet, a clipboard, pencils, and a mini. There are even Grommets so that you can hang towels from it. You attach this to the telescoping handle of your cart. There are two Velcro tabs that will attach the pouch to the pole, and an adjustable strap that will attach to the cart’s handle. This way the pouch remains in the same spot without sliding down the pole. This is available for purchase at InfiniteDiscs.com for $37.99.

This pouch works on a variety of different disc golf cart types or can even be attached to an ordinary backpack. View this video for the full details and functionality.

New Release – Launch Discs

Launch Disc Golf is now available for purchase on InfiniteDiscs.com. They are a UK based disc manufacturer that produces quality discs for the fast-growing disc golf market. There are two types of plastics available; Alpha and Omega. Alpha is the premium plastic, while the Omega is more of the putter type plastic. You can get the Cipher in Alpha, Code in Omega, and Lander in Omega. Read more about them below:

Cipher

The Cipher is the first driver release from Launch Disc Golf. It is a straight-to-overstable driver that can be used as a workhorse disc to traverse the fairway. It is comfortable to throw either backhand or forehand and it recommended for players at all experience levels, since it does not have an overly fast rim speed.

The alpha plastic is a little bit on the slicker side of plastic feel. This plastic has some bend to it, regardless, it still feels firm and durable. This disc is available for purchase on InfiniteDiscs.com/Launch-Disc-Golf-Cipher for $17.99

Code

The Code is an all-purpose mid-range disc. When thrown with power, it will reach a surprising distance. It has a slight turn when thrown with high speed, superb glide phase with a reliable fade finish.

The Omega plastic is on the tackier side of plastic feel. This plastic is stiffer than the Alpha plastic. This disc is available for purchase on InfiniteDiscs.com/Launch-Disc-Golf-Code for $12.49.

Lander

The Lander is an excellent debut putter from Launch Disc Golf. It has a flat top, a nicely rounded nose (rim) for comfort, and a smooth micro-bead for a little added stability. Categorized as a stable putter, having a straight flight path with a little fade at the end.

The Omega plastic is on the tackier side of plastic feel. This plastic is stiffer than the Alpha plastic. This disc is available for purchase on InfiniteDiscs.com/Launch-Disc-Golf-Lander for $12.49

This weekly chart is generated from the sales figures at Infinite Discs – the purchases made by our customers are the only contributing factor to the statistics. Two releases from Infinite Discs got on the chart with the C-Blend MYTH and the I-Blend EXODUS. Plus a restock of the Opto RIVER helped that disc to jump in at #14.  The new ANIMUS driver by Thought Space Athletics remained on the chart in all 3 plastic types this week.

Here is a look at how many times the different brands entered the chart this week:

–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.

WINNER – The #5 spot this week was the Z Glo BUZZZ which features the Halloween stamp. It looks like Scott wins for this week. Great job with the guess!

Introduction – Dallin Blanchard & His Signature Tomb

Dallin Blanchard is one of our top tier sponsored players, he doesn’t have the opportunity to tour as much as he would like, so many people aren’t aware of who he is. And with the recent release of his signature tomb, we thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce him through a little Q&A post. He is a phenomenal player, ranked 12th in the world, per the latest PDGA ranking update. He lives in Idaho, has a wife and four kids, and works full time. Without further ado, read more about Dallin, and give him some support by buying his signature Tomb which is now available on InfiniteDiscs.com.

How did you learn about disc golf?

My dad, brothers and I used to play “frisbee golf” while growing up. We would play with ultimate frisbees while on camping trips and in the backyard. We didn’t know there were actual baskets and that this was an actual sport so we would use trees and other obstacles as our targets. My oldest brother picked up disc golf while at PA school in Las Vegas. He told me about it and I was immediately hooked.

How long have you been playing disc golf?

I started playing disc golf in the spring of 2013 which makes it close to 8 years. I started playing casually while living in Washington DC and then got more serious when I moved back to Idaho in the summer of 2014. I played my first tournament in 2014 in the Intermediate division. In 2015, I decided I wanted to be a pro, so I played my first Open tournament and took 5th. Since then, I have only played in the Open division with the exception of the 2016 Memorial Championship where I played Advanced and tied for 5th place.

Within the disc golf world, who do you look up to?

Paul Mcbeth because he is the best and I want to be the best and beat the best. I still have a ways to go though… Garrett Gurthie because of his amazing skills with the disc and amazing attitude on and off the course. He is very easy to root for! I look up to several other players but these 2 guys stick out the most.

What’s your favorite Driver – why?

My favorite backhand long distance driver is the Star Destroyer. The Destroyers that are in my bag both give me max distance with a very consistent turn at the beginning of the flight and left fade at the end of the flight. My favorite forehand driver is the Infinite Discs Slab. I love that I can throw this disc as hard as I want and will always know that it will finish to the right for me. Both drivers are very consistent and have given me lots of birdies!

What’s the best aspect of disc golf? – ie) Long drives, hitting gaps, long putts, meeting people or something else?

While all the things you mentioned are really good things about disc golf, my favorite aspect is the competition. I grew up with 5 boys in my family and pretty much all we did growing up was play sports and compete against each other in the backyard. I love competing against myself and being able to push myself to be the best. I also enjoy competing against better players than myself because it gives me a drive to figure out how to get to their level.

What is your favorite course, and what made it so?

I have 2 favorite courses. My first favorite is Freeman Park in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The reason this is my favorite is because this is the course that I “grew up” on. It is a beautiful well maintained park with big mature trees and grass fairways. There is a small creek that runs through about 5 holes of the course. This course has everything needed to make an elite disc golf player. My second favorite is Camp Sekani in Spokane Washington. This was one of the first wooded courses I played. I love the big tall pine trees and wooded fairways that require you to shape your shot to get into birdie position. I am a fan of all types of courses whether it is in the park or in the woods.

What brand is your favorite?

I currently throw discs from the Innova, Infinite, and Discmania line up. My favorite brand has always been Innova because that is where it all began for me.

Other than disc golf, what are some of your hobbies?

As mentioned above, I am a sports fanatic and played basketball, baseball and football growing up and through high school. I love riding bikes around our neighborhood with my wife and 4 kids. I enjoy everything about the outdoors and love camping and hiking with my wife and kids. I also do a little hunting and fishing each year as well. Also, another favorite hobby of mine is cooking food on my Green Mountain Grill smoker.

Will we see you tour more in the future?

Having a full time job, a wife, and 4 kids definitely makes it very difficult for me to be on the typical disc golf tour. My plans for 2021 are to play in 2 pro tour events, Worlds, qualify and play USDGC, and play several A tiers and B tiers in the Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Washington areas. As disc golf continues to grow and sponsorships continue to increase, I definitely hope there are opportunities for me to tour more in the coming years.

Thank you Dallin for giving us the time to answer these few questions. Keep an eye out for him this upcoming year, as he has plans to play in two pro tour events among other events. You can even look him up on social media, he has had multiple shout-outs there. Or follow him on Instagram: dallin_blanchard. If you like the tomb, you should check out his Concrete Signature Tomb, it is a great looking disc.

Focus Friday – Thought Space Athletics Pathfinder

Happy Friday all, its a great day to start another Focus Friday. This week it is all about the new release, Thought Space Athletic’s Pathfinder! Use the discount code below to get 20% off all Pathfinders till Monday, November 2.

Officially available earlier this week, the Pathfinder is a stable midrange. It comes available in three different plastics Aura, Ethereal, and Ethos. The Pathfinder is a good answer to all of those shots.

You can select your disc by clicking here. Simply add as many Pathfinders to your shopping cart as you want, then BEFORE you click to checkout, look below the shopping cart. Right below the shopping cart is a box for Discount Codes. Click there and paste the code, FOCUSPATHFINDER, into the box. Then proceed to checkout and you’ll get the discount.

Here is a screenshot to help you out, though it doesn’t necessarily show a Pathfinder in the cart – it’s just a generic visual to help you find the discount code box:

We hope that you love throwing the Pathfinder. If you’ve thrown the disc, feel free to share what you think of this new midrange. Thanks!

STAY TUNED for our next Focus Friday for another chance to try a featured disc at a nice discounted price!

Animus and Pathfinder Release

Thought Space Athletics has released two new discs; a distance driver – the Animus – and a midrange – the Pathfinder. These discs are available right away in three plastics: Aura, Ethereal, and Ethos. Each plastic has its own unique stamp as well. Head on over to InfiniteDiscs.com/Thought-Space-Athletics to check these discs out and pick one up.

The Animus

The Animus is a high performance distance driver with a moderately overstable flight pattern. It handles torque well when thrown by experienced players, but does not have so much fade that it is unmanageable by recreational players who need an overstable driver in their bag. It has been compared to a cross between an Innova Wraith and Thunderbird.

The Pathfinder

The Pathfinder is an excellent mid-range that can be counted on for a consistent, straight flight down the fairway with only minimal end fade. Its excellence in flight can only be matched by the beauty of the plastic and stamps.

Exodus I-Blend Myth C-Blend Slab I-Blend

There are some new plastics released for some of our Infinite Discs molds. The Myth is now in C-Blend. The Exodus is now available in I-blend. And you can get the Slab in I-Blend as well.

The Myth is a dependable, beaded putter with a comfortable rim that can be used for precision putting, or as a driving putter and approach disc. If your putting game can’t be a thing of legend, then at least let it be a thing of Myth. Inspire friends and family to talk about your epic putts around late-night campfires for generations to come.

The Exodus is a stable, controllable fairway driver. The comfortable rim design and manageable speed are perfect for players at all experience levels. It is a trustworthy disc on the fairway and excellent for navigating wooded courses.  It has a precise, long flight pattern with a consistent fade, plus it can also handle all the power you can give it for long-distance flights.

The Slab is a high-speed, very overstable distance driver with a flat top and wide rim. TIt is designed for power throwers who want a disc that still fades, no matter how hard it is thrown. This disc works wonders for spike hyzer throws, strong forehand throws, as a wind fighter, or as a utility disc when you need to fade hard around obstacles. Watch the Slab slice dependably through the air under any conditions.

Dino Discs Triceratops Release

The Dino Discs Triceratops putter is now in stock!

This putter is available now in Eggshell plastic. There is a more typical putter plastic on the way. Like other Dino Discs, this is a very lightweight disc. Making it a great disc for kids, senior players, or anyone who has a slow arm. The Triceratops is an understable putter that flies fairly straight with a gentle fade at the end.

If you got the other Dino Discs, you can now finish the set off with the putter. These are available for $10.99 now on our website: https://infinitediscs.com/Dino-Discs-Triceratops
