TOP TWENTY TUESDAY – JANUARY 28TH 2020

It is time once again for our look back at the last week of sales. This weekly chart is generated from the sales figures at Infinite Discs – the purchases made by our customers are the only contributing factor to the statistics. We break the results down by disc model and plastic type so you can see which plastic types are selling the most. Here we go…

For the 2nd week in a row, the Paige Pierce Prototype Putter took the #1 spot on the Top 20 Tuesday chart. The 2nd spot was taken by the Star DESTROYER, but the Star WRAITH has been steadily climbing to challenge the Destroyer as Innova’s best-selling driver.

Discmania hit the chart a couple of times with the D-Line P2 taking the 4th spot (always a strong seller) and the DD3 Signature edition climbing back onto the chart as well.

The KC Pro CLASSIC ROC has hit the chart, since Infinite Discs has a couple of custom stamps on the old-school disc which has a small diameter and more of a putter profile than the modern ROC  does.

Here is a look at how many times different brands hit the Top 20 this week:

–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.

WINNER – The #6 spot this week was taken by the KC Pro Classic Roc which surged on the chart due to its availability with both the “Parachute Penguin” stamp and the Las Vegas Challenge stamp. There were some great guesses for that spot, but nobody picked the Classic Roc. Maybe next week!

GIFT CARD PREDICTION FOR NEXT WEEK:  Leave your comment below to guess the #8 spot for next chart.  It will go to the FIRST person to get it right. Good luck!

FOCUS FRIDAY – The Mantra by Thought Space Athletics

For our Focus Friday this week, we are going to spotlight the debut disc release by Thought Space Athletics. THE MANTRA was PDGA approved on October 17th, 2019 and has since been introduced into the disc market in three plastic types: Ethereal plastic (a limited edition run for the VIP Club), Ethos, and Aura. Let’s take a look at the Mantra!

MANTRA by Thought Space Athletics

The Mantra is a straight-to-understable driver which is designed to be easily managed for players of all skill levels. If you’re a newer player or don’t have a lot of arm speed, then you should still be able to handle the Mantra for great distance on the course. It could be compared to discs like the Innova Valkyrie, or the Discraft Heat. The plastic is durable yet somewhat tacky for a great feel.

MANTRA FLIGHT RATINGS

Speed: 9.0

Glide: 6.0

Turn: -2.0

Fade: 1.0

Here is a video look at the MANTRA by professional player, Drew Gibson. Keep in mind that Drew is known for his power and he admits that this particular disc is not really the best option for him, except as a roller. If you’re a power thrower, then the Mantra would turn more noticeably and become a roller utility disc.

For the next week, until the 1st of February, you can use this promo code to get yourself a MANTRA for 10% off:

TOP TWENTY TUESDAY – JANUARY 21ST 2020

It is time once again for our look back at the last week of sales. This weekly chart is generated from the sales figures at Infinite Discs – the purchases made by our customers are the only contributing factor to the statistics. We break the results down by disc model and plastic type so you can see which plastic types are selling the most. Here we go…

Top Twenty Tuesday for January 21st, 2020

#1 – Paige Pierce Prototype Putter
#2 – ESP AVENGER SS
#3 – Z-Line ZONE
#4 – ESP BUZZZ
#5 – Titanium UNDERTAKER
#6 – Z-Line FORCE
#7 – Sublime FREETAIL
#8 – C-Blend RUIN
#9 – D-Line P2
#10 – Star DESTROYER
#11 – ESP ZEUS
#12 – DX X-Out AVIAR
#13 – Atomic KEA
#14 – Apex FREETAIL
#15 – Tour ESP RATTLER
#16 – D-Plastic MJOLNER
#17 – R-Pro PIG
#18 – D-Plastic MIDGARD
#19 – C-Blend X-Out RUIN
#20 – Star THUNDERBIRD

Well, Paige Pierce ruled the chart at the #1 spot this week with her Prototype Putter release from Discraft. It’s an understable, low profile putter and we think a lot of people are going to love the feel and flight of this disc! Coming up right behind Paige on the chart were a slew of Paul McBeth signature editions with his new, limited edition 5X World Champion stamp. The AVENGER SS was added to his signature disc lineup and took the #2 spot while the Z-Line ZONE, ESP BUZZZ, Titanium UNDERTAKER, and Z-Line FORCE followed closed behind with those new signature editions.

There are also some smaller brands that made a splash on the charts this week. The new FREETAIL by Mint Discs took the #7 and #14 spots in two different plastics. The Infinite Discs RUIN jumped in at #8 and also showed up as an X-Out in the #19 position. The Atomic KEA by RPM Discs jumped onto the chart in the #13 position, and two discs by Norwegian brand, GURU DISCS, touched the chart with the MJOLNER at #16 and the MIDGARD at number #18.

It was a very interesting chart this week. Here is a look at the Discraft-dominated chart of how many times different brands appeared in the top 20 for the week:

–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.

WINNER – The #12 spot this week was taken by the DX X-Out AVIAR. While we do see X-Outs jump onto the chart from time to time, it is pretty rare. Those spikes are usually fueled when we get in a large supply of X-Outs for a popular mold. There were a lot of excellent guesses this week for discs that are on the chart, but nobody picked an X-Out to hit #12. Give it a try for next week!

GIFT CARD PREDICTION FOR NEXT WEEK:  Leave your comment below to guess the #6 spot for next chart.  It will go to the FIRST person to get it right. Good luck!

Focus Friday – The New RUIN By Infinite Discs

  • Turn: 0.0

The chart has a lot of variety this week, though the top spot D-Line P2 is always a strong contender, and the ESP Zeus has been hot for the last year. The #4 spot was taken by the new Legacy Discs release PHANTOM WARRIOR which is a Drew Gibson signature disc. That’s a good debut for Drew’s signature control driver! The AZTEC hit the chart in two spots with misprints, which were released last Friday. There were a good number of other brands represented on the chart. Here’s how many times those different brands hit the chart.

TOP TWENTY TUESDAY – JANUARY 7TH 2020

In case you missed the Top 100 best-sellers of 2019 at Infinite Discs, check out the newly posted charts and stats HERE.

But today, we look back at only the past week of sales for the Top 20 Tuesday chart. Our customers decide these rankings through their purchases– we do not alter the results for any reason. This chart covers the last week of sales and is broken down by disc model and plastic type.

Top Twenty Tuesday for January 7th, 2020

#1 – D-Line P2
#2 – Sublime FREETAIL
#3 – DX X-Out AVIAR
#4 – Discraft Special Blend LUNA
#5 – R-Pro PIG
#6 – Apex FREETAIL
#7 – ESP BANGER GT
#8 – Star DESTROYER
#9 – ESP ZEUS
#10 – ESP ANAX
#11 – ESP BUZZZ
#12 – Eternal FREETAIL
#13 – Swirly S-Line FD
#14 – Z Line ZONE
#15 – DX Color Glow ROC3
#16 – GStar DESTROYER
#17 – Star ROADRUNNER
#18 – Star WRAITH
#19 – K3 REKO
#20 – Classic JUDGE

The biggest stand-out this week is the new FREETAIL driver by Mint Discs which hit the #2 spot in Sublime plastic and two other spots (#6 and #12) with the two other premium plastic blends. That’s a nice debut!  The other spots mostly shuffled around with discs that regularly appear on the chart, since the first week of the year, and January in general, is slower for disc sales.

Here is a look at how many times different brands appeared on this week’s chart:

–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.

WINNER – The #10 spot this week was taken by the ESP ANAX by Discraft. It looks like nobody picked that as the possible #10 position, so we don’t have a winner this week.
