New Disc Releases – March 31, 2022

On this day, Thursday, March 31, 2022 there are a handful of new disc releases. These new molds are pretty sweet. I’m pretty excited about all of these things.

Infinite Discs Alpaca

The Splatter S-Blend Alpaca is now available. Though it isn’t a new mold, this is a new plastic blend for the Alpaca. If you’ve thrown the Alpaca, you know, it is quite capable. It is a favorite putt & approach discs of mine. It works well putting as well as for driving and approach throws. The stability is quite manageable and allows the disc to be so versatile, I love the disc. The Splatter S-Blend Alpaca offers a great durable plastic.

The Alpaca is the quintessential beadless putter. While the Infinite Discs Cohort has a somewhat low profile rim, the Alpaca presents a deeper rim for more of a traditional putter feel. Whether thrown at the basket or lofted high for approaches and drives, the Alpaca will carry your workload with ease.

Finish Line Era

The Finish Line Era is officially available. If you haven’t had a chance to throw this disc, you know that it is pretty sweet. This is quite the manageable distance driver, providing some good glide and decent turn with a healthy fade. It flies well for me and I can shape the lines to my needs. The Forged plastic feels nice, it is definitely different than any of the other plastics currently on the market. It seems to hold up pretty well too, not too much damage that I’ve seen from my playing with it.

The Era is the first disc in Drew Gibson’s Finish Line. This disc is designed to be the all purpose control driver for players of all skill level.

With a flat top and neutral flight path the Era works well for both backhand and forehand throws. It is understable enough to work for newer players, but has enough stability that it can handle the power of Drew Gibson. The Era has enough speed and glide to go as far as many distance drivers, but has minimal fade for the straight flight of a fairway.

Prodigy Signature Line Discs

Prodigy has also released a handful of signature discs. There are a lot of different molds for their pro players. 11 different molds, 15 different pros. Following this link you’ll be able to peruse all of these molds. There are various molds, among them you’ll find a FX-2, A3, F5, M4, PX-3 PA-2, PA-3, D1, PA-1 F3, and the P Model US. Click the appropriate link for the specific mold if you prefer. As always, these signature discs go and help the pro and their tour. Support pros like Alden Harris, Ezra Robinson, Isaac Robinson and Kevin Jones.

At this precise moment, not all discs are available. Though we are working to add them all online as fast as we can. We are really excited to bring these new discs to you, and we hope that you enjoy throwing these molds. And that you will have fun playing disc golf.

New Disc Golf Disc Releases

Disc Golf is an enjoyable sport that is always offering new equipment to try out. It seems that there almost every week there are new molds approved for tournament play by the PDGA. The disc golf disc approved list is ever growing, and it is exciting!

There are a handful of these new molds that we’ve received and we’re excited to get them to you. Some of the molds in this post have release dates in the near future, while others will release as soon as we get them online.

In addition to these new molds, there are a few signature discs that are coming out as well. Read on below to see what is in the pipeline.

Releasing Now

This list of discs is a little bit smaller than what is to come. These discs don’t have a specific release date attached to them. Which gives us the liberty of releasing them as soon as we get them online. In fact we have our team working to get them online right now. So within the next few hours, or day or so, you should see these molds available for purchase!

Uplay Disc Golf’s Zeal

For those who are unfamiliar, Uplay is a foundation that is ran by Zoe Andyke. This foundation has the goal to teach and inform children in schools and physical education programs about disc golf. They do a lot to grow the sport.

The Zeal is beadless putter that is quite stiff. The plastic is a base plastic, that offers good grip. With a well rounded shoulder, it is comfortable to grip. This disc is really easy to throw. I found it easy to get some turnover approach shots, and incredibly easy to throw for push putts. Anyone could find room in your bag regardless of skill level. The Zeal makes a great utility putter, driving putter, or putting putter.

At the moment it is only available in firm plastic, however, there are plans to release it in a soft plastic. You can pick this disc up for $7.99.

The ZEAL is a putter released by Uplay Disc Golf Foundation to be an easy-to-throw, comfortable putter for players of all levels and abilities. It is a beadless putter with a rounded rim for maximum comfort when using it to throw on approach or as a putter. Its understable flight helps it to hold a very straight flight path, resisting an unwanted fade whether thrown long or short.

Every Uplay disc sold, including the ZEAL putter, helps to raise funds for the Uplay Disc Golf Foundation’s mission of growing the sport of disc golf in communities. They teach instructors and students in physical education programs, in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools everywhere.

Lone Star Discs Armadillo

The first time I picked up the Armadillo I thought, “This is a Burg/Rhyno disc.” Looking at the flight numbers of the Burg and the Rhyno the Armadillo is a mix of the two. It really flies quite similar to the two as well. This is a pretty reliable approach disc, almost always flies the same regardless of the what the weather is doing. It flies very straight with a gentle fade at the end. Because of these attributes, this is a good disc and reliable approach disc. This disc starts at $17.99.

The Armadillo is a low speed and low glide disc. This disc is meant to be accurate and offer great control It has a thumbtrack on the disc for comfort. It is an easy disc to control, and will fly consistently to provide good accuracy. Lone Star says, “Our newest Putt and Approach disc holds true to its namesake with its Blunt Nosed Rim and Thumbtracked Shoulder that forces this disc to fly straight as an arrow with a reliable fade to its intended target.”

Eric Oakley’s Lucid Justice

The Justice is such a classic beefy midrange. I remember when I first started playing that I thought this disc was too much. Why would you need a disc that doesn’t fly? Now that I am much more experienced, this is almost a must have. The ability to resist wind, always fade, and just so consistent is incredible. Because of this, the Justice has saved me from so many bad lies and has been able to hit so many different lines, that its worth is immeasurable! I love the Justice.

I think it is pretty awesome that Dynamic and Eric worked together to make this signature disc a possibility. This signature disc is available now.

Strong winds will make the most experienced player look like a novice. They have forced us back into the laboratory to solve the midrange question. Our tests have led us here. The Justice is served. The Justice by Dynamic Discs is going to become your new utility disc.  It will not turn over. Throw the Justice one time and you will not need to reach for anything else for a short distance, over-stable answer. No longer will you throw a good shot into a headwind only to see your disc flip over. Let the Justice get you what you deserve.

NOTE: Since the initial release, Dynamic Discs has changed the stamp on the disc to indicate “Glide 1” though the mold itself has not changed.

Lone Star Discs Jack Rabbit

The Jack Rabbit is a utility approach disc. It is not quite as beefy as I had anticipated.  The flight numbers indicate that it should fly like a zone, but I found that it is not as stable. Overall, it provides some good lines, and is quite reliable in its ability to fly and fade as expected. I enjoy the lines that this disc provides.

The Jack Rabbit is a comfortable disc to grip. The bead is a medium sized bead, it isn’t obtrusive nor unnoticeable. And with the rounded rim/shoulder, I think it is more comfortable in a backhand grip than a forehand though. Overall, its a comfortable disc to grip. You’ll be able to grab yourself one for $16.99.

The Jack Rabbit from Lone Star Discs is a putter with a wide bead, flat top, and a well rounded rim. This is a stable to overstable putt & approach disc. This disc will work well has a headwind putter or a driving putter. It can handle power. This will provide good hyzer lines, spike hyzers, and even some good flex lines.

Releasing in the Future

Elevation Disc Golf Binx

This new fairway driver from Elevation Disc golf surprised me. I’m not a huge fan of the Elevation rubber, as it is too floppy for my comfort, and I feel like it inhibits its flight consistency. However, the rubber feels a little different this time around. Maybe its because the rim is thicker than a midrange or putter?

Throwing the Binx, I found that it is pretty accurate to the flight numbers provided. It is a do-it all kind of disc. Which makes it quite usable, especially in this floppy rubber blend. I found that it worked well on anhyzers, hyzers, and flat shots. It was pretty easy to throw, and a little more reliable. I didn’t feel like the disc wouldn’t catch air and just fly into the sky like the other molds. However, I do find that it is still the Elevation Rubber, and that the characteristics are still there. Despite that, the Binx is still a pretty good fairway driver, and the no-ground-play is incredible! This disc is set to release March 3, at 9-o-clock MST, you’ll be able to snag one for yourself for $19.99.

The Elevation Disc Golf Binx is a straight flying fairway driver that is useful for everyone. Its flight characteristics allow for easy control and consistent flight paths. The Binx can hold most any line you need, proving to be a good go-to driver.

The unique rubber blend is designed to limit ground play when the disc lands. Ensuring accuracy and consistency on those upshots that have OB or other hazards around the landing zone.

Eric Oakley’s P-Blend Glow Alpaca

The Alpaca is a well loved putter, and for good reason. This mold is versatile, working well as a driver, approach disc, or putter. The stability provides enough beef that it gives a consistent fade. In softer plastics, this can be beaten into submission. Allowing for straight flights and some shot shaping. Eric Oakley really enjoys using the Alpaca for these reasons among many. As one of his signature discs we are releasing the Alpaca in a P-Blend Glow plastic. This plastic offers some good grip and a little more longevity than the D-Blend. Keep your eye out of this release on March 10, 2022, you can grab yours for $15.49.

Divergent Discs Golem

Divergent Discs is working hard to provide discs for all of the amateurs. The Golem is within their StayPut rubber blend. Designed to hit the ground and and stick, limiting the ground play. This disc is overstable, it is very much in the same playing field as a Zone, Harp, or Pig. And it really does limit the ground play, it hits and stops. Its a pretty cool disc. On March 10, 2022 this disc will release and be available for purchase. This will be available for $16.99.

The Golem is an overstable putt & approach disc. It has a flat top and a comfortable grip for both backhand and forehand throws. As an overstable putter it will provide a straight flight with no turn and a consistent fade. The Golem can also handle most windy conditions without drastically changing its flight path.

Thought Space Athletics’ Synapse

The TSA Synapse is a solid distance driver. The rim is on the large side, for me. It doesn’t feel all that much different from a 12 speed disc. My first throw surprised me with how easy the disc felt to throw. I found that I got a little bit of turn before it faded. So to me, I think there is a little less turn than what was advertised. Regardless of this though, I was still pleased with the flight path and the distance achieved upon throwing this new disc. The Thought Space Athletics Synapse will release on March 11, 2022.

The Thought Space Athletics Synapse is a professional level distance driver for maximum distance and performance.

Striking a harmonious balance between distance and accuracy, the Synapse is the flagship entry into the true “pro” distance driver slot for Thought Space Athletics. It is stable enough to handle big arm speed or a stiff headwind, with just a hint of high-speed turn. The Synapse finds its equilibrium as the reliably stable long-bomber in your bag.

Finish Line’s Era

Drew Gibson tore it up last weekend at Las Vegas Challenge. Gannon Buhr definitely tore it up as well, it was such a good competition to watch. If you were watching carefully, you would have noticed that Drew threw this disc on a few holes. I’m fairly certain that LVC was the first tournament that the Era was thrown in. Which makes it a great debut to the world.

The Era is a stable, 10-speed distance driver. And it is a comfortable disc to throw, and achieve good distance. Its stability makes it more available to people to throw and achieve good distance. All the while providing a disc that is controllable for a lot of different throws.

Infinite Discs is still accepting pre-orders for this mold. Though they are much more limited than before. Rumor has it that the pre-orders will start to ship out soon, and that the stock release is close behind that as well. It seems that they’re targeting a release for the end of March.

Finish Line Discs are designed and manufactured in the USA.

Wing It Disc Golf’s Stratosphere

Wing It Disc Golf is a new manufacturer who looks to be using a new manufacturer (new to Disc Golf that is). As such, this company is working entirely from scratch, and it is cool to see the journey that they’re taking. If you would like, check out their website to see their experience in creating a disc. On the website they’ve detailed the entire process in a blog, which is entertaining to read.

The Stratosphere is their first mold, and Infinite Discs VIP members got to try out the first run of these discs. They are incredibly pretty discs, with such a variety of swirls. And, the disc is rather enjoyable to throw as well. Additionally, it provides a consistent flight, and is a stable disc. This fairway driver can make for a great staple in anyone’s bag. At the moment, Run 2 of the Stratosphere is scheduled to release to the public in Spring 2022.

Other Ways to See New Discs

As always, every day we are adding new discs online. It can be fun to watch the “Newly Added Discs” page on our site. It is a great way to see what is new for the day. And sometimes you’ll see some sweet gems. However, we do sometimes turn this page off on big releases though, this is to provide a quick web page load time for you.

As always, thanks for reading, and I hope that you’re as excited for these new releases as we are!

Team Infinite’s Kade Filimoehala

Kade Filimoehala:

The Quest to Win the Junior World Championship

How old were you when you started playing disc golf? In the 2021 State of Disc Golf survey the average age that we started playing disc golf was around 27 years old. In the next couple of blog posts, we’ll take a look at two players who started playing disc golf in two extreme age groups: under 12 and over 70. They are both Team Infinite players who are active in disc golf and who recently competed in their respective PDGA World Championships. In this blog we’ll start with the younger player, Kade.

Heading Into Junior Worlds

Kade Filimoehala played in the 2021 Junior World Championships in July of this year. It was the culmination of a goal set years ago when he first attended Junior Worlds. Although he was excited to be competing in Championship, he also a little nervous entering the tournament. He was the highest rated player and this was his last chance to win the tournament.

Adding to his nervousness was a first round result that was less than he hoped for. To be more accurate, it was a great round of disc golf. But it put him a little further outside of first place than he wanted. Kade knew he had his work cut out for him if he wanted to take the top spot for the tournament. But, before we get to the results, let’s get to know Kade a little better.

About Kade

Kade lives in Northern Utah, in the community of Kaysville. His name is Tongan. He is one-quarter Tongan and his grandpa on his dad’s side is full Tongan. Despite having numerous courses within a fairly short distance of his parent’s home in Kaysville, he stumbled onto the sport on a family vacation in Idaho. They were at Lava Hot Springs and noticed some disc golf baskets at a park near the hot springs pool. He and his family visited a local sporting goods store and picked up a few Echo Star Destroyers and played the course. That is where his passion for disc golf began.

First Trip to Worlds

Although Kade’s disc golf career essentially began as a 10-year-old on a humble 9-hole course in Idaho, something happened later that had an important impact on his game: He attended a PDGA Junior World Championship in 2018. His performance there landed him toward the back half of the pack. But that fueled his desire to come back to the tournament, and win!

Though not satisfied with his finish, his experience in Emporia that year was positive. “Junior Worlds is such a well-run tournament and it is so fun to play with people my age,“ he said.

Competing to Improve

Kade played in numerous regional tournaments in 2019, mostly as an Amateur, winning some and slowly improving his rating and his skills. He also returned to Junior Worlds, finishing slightly better than the year before.

In 2020 Kade started playing more in the open division, even playing in numerous DGPT events around the country. He gained a lot of experience. He also got to see what it was like to be a younger player in a group with older competitors.

“Now I don’t get treated any differently,” said Kade. “But when I first started playing disc golf tournaments, I sometimes wasn’t handed the scorecard, and the other three guys just did the scorecard for me.” That’s something for the rest of us keep in mind, too. Especially since we’re seeing more amazing young players entering the pro ranks.

During that year he won a few tournaments as an Open player, but declined the cash payout, as is the prerogative of an Amateur player who wants to maintain their Amateur status. He still had in mind his goal to win the Junior World Champion title that year. Then, unfortunately for his plans, the pandemic hit and it got cancelled.

Getting Ready to Win

Undeterred by the cancellation, Kade continued to play as much as he could and continued to grow as a player. His MPO wins for that year included two B-tiers and a C-tier event. And his rating continued to climb.

This year, 2021, found Kade back playing competitively, this time exclusively as an MPO player. He competed at many local, regional, and a few DGPT events in preparation for achieving his goal to win Junior Worlds. Then, in July of 2021, Kade returned to Emporia to make the attempt.

As mentioned in the opening of the blog, Kade was less than impressed with his start at Jr Worlds. In his words he, “didn’t play my best that first round.” But, he did what everyone should do after a bad round, he focused on what he needed to improve for the next round. It worked and his next round was much better.

Meeting a Hero

At the Peter Pan Course in the second round Kade shot a 1028-rated round, which moved him from 14th place to 4th, and he made it onto the lead card. Something else special happened that round: Fellow Team Innova player Ricky Wysocki followed him and watched him play! That was special for Kade because Ricky has always been a hero to Kade. “Ever since watching the 2012 World Championships, my favorite disc golfer has been Ricky Wysocki,” he said. Following the round Ricky invited him to dinner with Innova team manager Joe Rotan.

Finishing Strong

The third round of Junior Worlds was another round that wasn’t his best, but wasn’t horrible either. He maintained his place on the lead card, and even moved up a spot to third place. After that, he started the pick up speed.

Round four was another 1000+ rated round, and in rounds five and six Kade shot the hot round! Shooting some amazing disc golf he was able to coast into the final round with a 7-stroke lead. Even then, he didn’t let off the gas and shot the hot final round en route to a 9-stroke lead and the championship!

It was a great week for Kade. Not only did he win the championship, he won the long drive competition with a throw of 555′. Plus, he took first in his division’s Double’s tournament with his brother Andrew, another rising star.

Turning Pro

The win at Emporia was a memorable event for Kade. It was the achievement of a goal he had set years earlier and the results of countless hours of practice and competition. It also put him in a position to make a big career decision. Should be remain an amateur, or become a professional? It was an easy decision for him.

“I had set a goal to win Junior Worlds and because I accomplished that I felt like I was ready to move on,” said Kade. Plus, he was planning on attending college a few months later, so he didn’t know if he would have the time to train properly for Am Worlds. So, he turned pro.

He is glad he did that. He has already finished near the top in a few tournaments, and was actually able to take cash for his efforts.

“It felt great to get rewarded for good play and feel like I’m competing for something more than a trophy and a good round rating,” he said.

His Future in Disc Golf

Although he doesn’t know exactly where disc golf will take him, he still has goals he will be working toward. Those include achieving a rating of 1030 or higher by 2023, make a DGPT Elite Series lead card, and finishing a DGPT tournament with 100% C1 putting. Given his history, he will likely see those goals fulfilled, too.

Pro Tips

Since he started playing when he was fairly young, he knows the challenges that face younger disc golfers as they rise in the ranks and play with older players. He was asked what advice he would give to someone starting out in the sport, who want to play competitively.

“Don’t be afraid to speak up and take a turn at doing the scoring,” he said.  “Also, don’t be afraid to speak your opinion on a close call.  It is very easy to conform to what the rest of your card is saying. As a young player playing with adults, it is important not to be intimidated, and let your card know what you think regardless of what they are saying.”

When things go wrong during a round, he has a tip that really helps him.

“I immediately start thinking about the next tee shot. I think about the disc I’m going to throw, the angle I’m going to throw it on, the wind, and where I want the disc to land. That seems to help me move on.”

Learning and Teaching

In addition to Ricky Wysocki, Kade has other pros that he looks up to, including Drew Gibson. “Drew’s backhand is what I have used to model my backhand.” In watching Kade throw, the similarities are apparent.

Recently, Kade started making himself available to teach lessons. He’ll show up to a session with a video camera and radar gun, then proceed to observe, record, measure, and give tips that will help that individual improve their game. When asked for the most common mistakes he sees people make, Kade said it usually has to do with upper body.

“The most common mistake I see is rounding. It usually stems from having an ultimate background, or when people try to throw really hard a lot of the time, they pull their shoulders through too fast. It causes the disc to lag and usually causes a massive power and accuracy loss.”

In His Bag

As for what Kade has in his bag, it’s no surprise that he throws Innova and Infinite molds. Here is what he throws the most:

Driver: Innova Destroyer

Fairway driver: Infinite Exodus

Midrange: Innova Roc3

Putter: Infinite Alpaca

Conclusion

From his start on a small course in Idaho to winning the Junior World Championship, Kade has worked hard to improve his skills as a disc golfer. Given that history of discipline and practice, the sky is the limit for this Team Infinite member!

Team Infinite Player Spotlight: Taylor Aubuchon

When I started my journey down the rabbit hole of learning about disc golf and buying discs about 2 years ago, Taylor Aubuchon was the first reviewer I came across. I appreciated Taylor’s succinct reviews that had no extra fluff in them: 60-second reviews, a couple throws from different release angles, flight trackers, and good descriptions of the feel and flight of a specific disc.

The more knowledge I gain, or think I gain, I still find myself looking forward to and immediately clicking on any new videos from Taylor. Taylor can pack just the right amount of information into a short and easily digestible video. Most of Taylor’s videos also end with a discount code to be used at infinitediscs.com

I reached out for a brief interview to better introduce Taylor to other Infinite followers that may not be aware of his content, social media presence, and mission to grow the game.

What is your disc golf origin story?

In late middle school/early high school (2007/2008), my group of friends and I were introduced to the game through our church’s youth group. I also took my dad and brother out to play and we were all hooked instantly. We were really lucky to have a great course just a few minutes away and started to play relatively seriously early on. Our youth group started a weekly bag tag series, and I even started to run a small doubles charity tournament within that first year.

How long have you been working with Infinite Discs?

Fortunately for me, Infinite started to support me after just my first review video, which was in March 2019. I’ll never be able to thank Dylan enough for believing in the plan I had for a different take on review videos! It’s pretty crazy to see how far I’ve come and how much it’s grown since then.

When did you start posting disc golf videos?

I started posting in March 2019, right when the first run I-Blend Emperors came out. This was a disc I was really excited about and thought it needed some more light shed on it. It was a mediocre video, to say the least, but it got some great feedback and I’ve been trying to improve and refine my style ever since.

How did you develop your signature and succinct review style?

I think as most content creators develop their style it starts out being mostly self-serving. After taking an extended hiatus from the game, my brother introduced me to the Infinite brand. I was hard-pressed to find any reviews or really any content focused on their lineup. Most YouTube reviews I was watching seemed quite long for their purpose, and I couldn’t find any review content on Instagram at the time. I saw an opportunity to create a more concise format that would be able to be pushed to the more underutilized avenues of social media. The original plan was actually to only post them to Instagram. I only created a YouTube channel to be able to share the reviews in Infinite’s comment section.

What disc surprised you the most after reviewing it? (You weren’t expecting to like, flew differently than expected, etc)

Definitely the Aztec. I had never really thrown that kind of straight control driver that still had good distance potential. When the I-Blend test run came out I loved the feel and flight it had, but it beat in just a little too quickly to be super reliable. Thankfully, the color glow run came out shortly after and I’ve had at least two in my bag ever since. The Aztec gives me the control of the Exodus, while not sacrificing much of the extra distance I’d get from bumping up to an Emperor of Pharaoh. If they’re ever looking for a name to put on the color glow Aztec, I know a guy that’d be pretty interested.

What is your favorite Infinite disc?

The Tomb without a doubt. I power grip everything but putts, so the Tomb is a perfect throwing putter for me with its shallow rim. Right now I’m bagging a Splatter S-Blend for overstable, C-Blend for stable, and D-Blend for understable throwing putter slots.

What is your favorite non-infinite disc?

I’ve had a full infinite bag for a bit over a year now, but the hardest disc for me to take out was the Westside Discs Pine. I enjoy a taller, more overstable feeling Midrange that beat into straight fliers. Taking the time to beat a disc into that perfect spot gives you a level of confidence and trust in it that can’t easily be replaced.

Who is your player on tour?

I always look forward to watching Drew Gibson shred out there. Best backhand form on tour!

Do you compete in tournaments? Discuss some local events, results, experiences, etc.

Unfortunately, it’s been a couple of years since I’ve played a local event, but I’m hoping to get back out there soon!

What are some of your disc golf goals?

Since really diving into content creation, most of my goals center around growing my presence to be able to share these awesome discs with as many people as possible! It’d be awesome to hit 1000 YouTube subscribers someday, but I try not to focus too hard on any specific avenue as there are so many outlets to push to. As far as disc golf specific, I’m always tweaking something in my game. Right now the goal is to develop a more consistent forehand, there’s a reason you’ve never seen me throw a forehand in any video…

What are some of your hobbies outside of and other than disc golf?

Before disc golf, my biggest passions were music and video games. I played in local bands throughout high school and dove pretty deep into music production afterward. I’ve also streamed via Twitch off and on since around 2015. Although music has taken a bit of a back seat recently, I still stream regularly at twitch.tv/ursapls and would love to talk disc golf, gaming, or music with anyone that wants to stop by!

We will be continuing this series, spotlighting members of Team Infinite from all 4 levels: Signature, Elite, Ambassador, and Core Teams. Please share this article and comment below which player(s) that you would like to hear from!

Get outside and throw some discs. Have an awesome day!

TOP TWENTY TUESDAY – August 4TH 2020

It is time once again for our look back at the last week of sales. This weekly chart is generated from the sales figures at Infinite Discs – the purchases made by our customers are the only contributing factor to the statistics. We break the results down by disc model and plastic type so you can see which plastic types are selling the most. Here we go…

Top Twenty Tuesday for August 4th, 2020

#1 – Z Line BUZZZ
#2 – Signature ESP HADES
#3 – Signature ESP ZEUS
#4 – Signature I-Blend EMPEROR
#5 – Halo Star WRAITH
#6 – DX AVIAR
#7 – R-Pro PIG
#8 – Star DESTROYER
#9 – Prime Burst JUDGE
#10 – ESP ZONE
#11 – Signature P-Blend INCA
#12 – Star WRAITH
#13 – Star TEEBIRD
#14 – Z Line ZONE
#15 – Neo ESSENCE
#16 – Cosmic Electron PROXY
#17 – Tour ESP COMET
#18 – Aura MANTRA
#19 – Signature Metal Flake C-Blend PHARAOH
#20 – KC Pro ROC

The inventory levels at Infinite Discs reached the lowest levels this week since early 2017 as the supply chain continues to be challenged by the increased demand for discs. Three Discraft models took the top three spots on the chart this week, and plenty of Innova molds were in the mix as well. But there were several smaller brands that jumped into the Top 20 as players begin looking at alternatives to some of the mainstay discs that are out of stock.

Here at Infinite Discs, we were excited to see three of our own signature discs do well, with the Kona Panis Emperor taking the #4 spot, the Drew Gibson Inca taking the #11 spot, and the David Feldberg Pharaoh coming in at #19.

Here is a look at how many times the different brands hit the chart this week:

–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.

WINNER – The #12 spot last week was taken by the Star WRAITH which was guessed by RYAN who is our winner of the $10 gift card this week. Good job!

GIFT CARD PREDICTION FOR NEXT WEEK:  Leave your comment below to guess the #13 spot for next chart.  It will go to the FIRST person to get it right. Good luck!

TOP TWENTY TUESDAY – MAY 12TH 2020

It is time once again for our look back at the last week of sales. This weekly chart is generated from the sales figures at Infinite Discs – the purchases made by our customers are the only contributing factor to the statistics. We break the results down by disc model and plastic type so you can see which plastic types are selling the most. Here we go…

Top Twenty Tuesday for MAY 12TH, 2020

#1 – Star DESTROYER
#2 – D-Line P2
#3 – Discraft Special Blend LUNA
#4 – Signature Swirly S-Blend SCEPTER
#5 – Discraft Prototype Putter Blend FIERCE
#6 – Star MAKO3
#7 – DX AVIAR
#8 – Rubber Blend ZONE
#9 – R-Pro PIG
#10 – Signature Swirly S-Blend EXODUS
#11 – DX ROC
#12 – K3 BERG
#13 – XT Mix NOVA
#14 – ESP BUZZZ
#15 – EXO Hard Tactic
#16 – Signature ESP ANAX
17 – Z Line BUZZZ
#18 – KC Pro KC AVIAR
#19 – Signature ESP MALTA
#20 – Star SHRYKE

The story clearly shown on this week’s chart is that supply is important. Once we received a new shipment of discs from INNOVA, some of their discs moved back onto the chart, including the Star DESTROYER re-taking the #1 spot after a long hiatus. Other Innova molds like the MAKO3, ROC, PIG, NOVA and SHRYKE hit the chart as well. Once the supply comes back for discs that had dwindled in numbers, the chart moves around quite a bit. We still have a lot more Innova to add to our inventory at Infinite Discs, so expect to see those Innova numbers stick around.

Also on the chart this week were two new Signature Edition discs from Infinite Discs. The Drew Gibson Signature Swirly S-Blend SCEPTER took the #4 spot and the Scott Withers Signature Swirly S-Blend EXODUS debuted at #10.

Here is a look at how many times different brands appeared in this week’s chart:

–> Each week we’ll invite you to leave a prediction for a certain chart position on next week’s TOP TWENTY TUESDAY report. The person to predict that chart position correctly in the comments will win a $10 gift card for the Infinite Discs website.

WINNER – The #13 spot this week was taken by the XT Mix NOVA. It appears that nobody picked the Nova to jump back onto the chart, so there is not a winner this week, but give it another try!

GIFT CARD PREDICTION FOR NEXT WEEK:  Leave your comment below to guess the #15 spot for next chart.  It will go to the FIRST person to get it right. Good luck!
