Infinite Discs Ruin

The Ruin is a pretty useful approach disc. It is an overstable mold that can handle power and can withstand the wind. Making it an excellent utility disc, or a reliable approach disc. Providing an overstable flight path with a hardy fade at the end. This has a unique rim to it, and an incredibly flat top. Fitting in the hand fairly well regardless of a forehand or backhand grip, providing good control over the disc.

I’ve used this mold for a large variety of approach shots. It’s been quite useful for the simple approach, a headwind putt, getting around an object, for drives, and for some flex shots. It has a lot of uses out on the course, it is a lot of fun to throw. Because of its dependable flight, it is quite useful.

If you have thrown the Teebird, you understand how awesome this disc is. For me, it is one of my favorite molds ever made. It handles a large amount of my drives, it is a go-to fairway driver of mine.

Throwing this mold is real easy and comfortable for me. I really like that when thrown flat, it flies dead straight with a healthy fade a the end. There isn’t much drift in its flight. I really appreciate its consistency, and reliability. I’ve enjoyed throwing this in open courses and tightly wooded courses; for me, it is an incredibly useful mold.

This is a really good disc for a large variety of players. From the recreational player to the touring pro. In fact, I have recommended this disc as a beginner fairway driver. It’s a slower speed, provides good flight, and will be useful well beyond their beginner time. X-Com Discs

This provides long lasting plastic, that is still quite affordable, that feels good in the hand. This is definitely my favorite of the two.

This putt & approach disc is one of my favorite molds from the Infinite line. Its incredibly versatile, I bag so many of these in various plastics. It works excellently as a putter, it works wonderfully as an approach disc. I’ve been able to get this disc to fly a large variety of lines. I’ve seen it fly completely dead straight, and to fly quite stable, as well as to hold a turnover line. I love this mold.

Focus Friday – Stratosphere

Happy Friday everyone! We have another Focus Friday discount code available for you today. This code will save you 25% off all Wing It Disc Golf Stratospheres. Well, for those that do not know, the Stratosphere is the second layer from the earth’s crust. It is just after the troposphere, which contains the air that we breath. The cool thing about the stratosphere is that airplanes work to get into it for cruising. This has a lot less turbulence than the troposphere.

So, maybe, Wing It named their first mold “Stratosphere” because this disc somehow flies through the air that has the least amount of turbulence! Woah, that would be incredible if a disc could actually avoid turbulence. I’ve played on some windy days, and I’ve seen multiple air bounces and drops within just one throw. It can be annoying.

Wing It Discs Stratosphere

Well, unfortunately the name of a disc doesn’t have any affect on its flight characteristics. But it is fun to think on the “what if…”. The Stratosphere is a relatively friendly disc for anyone to use. It is easy to throw, which helps beginners to achieve good distance and increase their confidence. All the while, it isn’t so understable that it loses consistency or becomes difficult to throw without turning over. I find that this mold is in that sweet spot that allows most every disc golfer to throw it and rely on it. Providing a disc that most everyone can enjoy throwing.

For me, this flies nicely. Not quite the flight path as depicted on our site. When I throw it, it has a little bit more fade to it. This is is quite pleasing to me as it is a relatively straight fairway driver for me. I find it capable of doing all the lines that I want it to do, hyzers and anhyzers. There has even been some good success with rollers, I don’t much like rollers as I suck at them. Overall, this is a pretty solid first disc from a company who has entered the market and learned about the manufacturing process as they went along creating the mold/disc. You’ll find that this begins a little more stable than advertised but works its way into an incredible workhorse. Once beat in it is quite capable of handling a variety of lines; from the hyzer to the anhyzer lines.

Disc Golf Tournament Necessities On Sale
